1. Legal Entity & Acceptance

Ancient Synthesis is operated by Veda Paradigm Pty Ltd (ABN 93 688 354 038) (“Ancient Synthesis”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

These Terms apply to all services, sessions, workshops, retreats, tours, readings, ceremonies, mentoring, coaching, and online programs (“Services”).

By booking or participating in any Service, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

2. Where Services Are Delivered

Services may be delivered:

  • Online via digital platforms;

  • At our location in Perth, Western Australia;

  • At third-party venues;

  • At retreat centres;

  • At domestic or international locations.

All Services are legally deemed to be provided from Western Australia, Australia, regardless of where accessed.

3. International Services & Regulatory Position

We provide educational, spiritual and wellbeing services from Australia.

We do not represent compliance with professional or regulatory frameworks outside Australia.

By participating from another country, you:

  • Confirm participation is lawful in your jurisdiction;

  • Accept that Australian law governs the contract;

  • Waive any claim based on foreign professional licensing requirements.

4. Nature of Services

Services are educational, reflective, spiritual and exploratory in nature and may include:

  • Life coaching & mentoring

  • Meditation guidance

  • Tarot & esoteric readings

  • Sound healing

  • Mantra & Homa ceremonies

  • Applied philosophy workshops

  • Retreats & guided tours

They are not therapeutic, clinical, or medical services.

5. No Medical, Psychological, Legal or Financial Advice

Ancient Synthesis does not provide:

  • Medical advice

  • Psychological or psychiatric treatment

  • Diagnosis

  • Financial advice

  • Legal advice

Nothing provided constitutes healthcare or regulated professional services.

Clients must seek independent licensed advice where appropriate.

6. No Guarantees

We make no representations or guarantees regarding:

  • Emotional, spiritual or physical outcomes

  • Predictive accuracy

  • Healing results

  • Personal transformation

  • Financial or relational outcomes

All participation is voluntary and results vary.

7. Personal Responsibility

You acknowledge:

  • You are responsible for your decisions and actions.

  • You will not rely solely on any session for major life decisions.

  • You participate voluntarily.

  • You disclose relevant health conditions.

8. Health & Fitness to Participate

You warrant that:

  • You are physically and mentally fit to participate.

  • You have disclosed relevant medical conditions.

  • You accept responsibility for any physical or emotional responses.

We may refuse participation if safety concerns arise.

9. Dangerous Recreational Activities (WA Law)

Certain activities may involve inherent risks, including:

  • Breathwork

  • Meditation

  • Sound vibration exposure

  • Fire ceremonies (Homa)

  • Travel to remote locations

To the maximum extent permitted under the Civil Liability Act 2002 (WA):

We are not liable for harm resulting from obvious risks of dangerous recreational activities voluntarily undertaken.

You voluntarily assume those risks.

10. Third-Party Venues & Premises

Services may be conducted at venues not owned or controlled by Ancient Synthesis, including:

  • Client homes

  • Hired halls

  • Yoga studios

  • Retreat centres

  • Hotels

  • Overseas facilities

Where Services occur at third-party venues:

  • Ancient Synthesis is not the owner, occupier, or controller of the premises.

  • We do not assume responsibility for structural safety, maintenance, security, fire compliance, electrical systems, or general premises conditions.

  • Responsibility for the physical condition of the premises rests solely with the venue owner or occupier.

  • Participants enter such premises at their own risk.

  • Any claim relating to the condition of the premises must be directed to the venue operator.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from the condition or operation of third-party premises.

11. Retreats & Travel

11.1 Not a Travel Agent

Ancient Synthesis is not a licensed travel agent and does not sell travel services.

We facilitate experiential programs only.

11.2 Third-Party Providers

We are not liable for acts or omissions of:

  • Airlines

  • Accommodation providers

  • Transport operators

  • Caterers

  • Local guides

  • Venue operators

Disputes with third parties must be resolved directly with them.

11.3 Mandatory Travel Insurance

Participants must obtain comprehensive travel insurance.

Failure to do so is at your own risk.

11.4 International Travel Risks

You acknowledge risks including:

  • Political instability

  • Illness

  • Injury

  • Cultural differences

  • Natural disasters

  • Travel disruption

You voluntarily assume these risks.

12. Cancellations, No-Shows & Refunds

12.1 Cancellations

  • More than 48 hours before appointment → eligible for rescheduling only.

  • Within 48 hours or no-show → full fee forfeited.

  • No refunds for change of mind.

12.2 Refunds

Refunds are provided only where required under the Australian Consumer Law.

12.3 Exceptional Circumstances

Emergency exceptions are at our sole discretion.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ancient Synthesis excludes liability for:

  • Personal injury

  • Emotional distress

  • Indirect or consequential loss

  • Loss of income or opportunity

  • Travel disruption losses

Where liability cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law, liability is limited to:

  • Re-supply of Services; or

  • Payment of the cost of re-supply.

14. Indemnity

You indemnify Veda Paradigm Pty Ltd and its directors, officers, employees, contractors and facilitators against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages or legal costs arising from:

  • Your participation

  • Your breach of these Terms

  • Your negligent, unlawful or reckless conduct

  • Claims brought by third parties due to your actions

15. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters

  • Government restrictions

  • Pandemics

  • Travel bans

  • War or civil unrest

  • Venue closure

We may reschedule, modify or cancel Services accordingly.

16. Intellectual Property

All materials remain property of Veda Paradigm Pty Ltd.

No reproduction, distribution, recording or commercial use without written consent.

17. Confidentiality

Information shared is confidential except where:

  • Required by law

  • Serious threat to safety exists

  • Required by court order

18. Exclusive Jurisdiction & Governing Law

These Terms are governed exclusively by the laws of Western Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia.

You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.

You waive any right to bring proceedings in another jurisdiction, to the extent permitted by law.

19. Severability

If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains valid.
